Florent: the man, the diner, the movie...
Just caught this on PBS tonight. I only went to Florent a few times (usually after Passerby gigs around 2002), but they were all good times. The documentary does nice job of connecting great, inspirational New York characters at pivotal points in the city’s creative and political history.
